Although I am young and have little to no experience in the realm of corrupt career politicians or their party I do want to cover the issue of identity politics and why establishment Democrats are making it worse. White Supremacist terrorist groups in this country use our 1st amendment right to promote hate crimes. Hundreds of thousands of US citizens have been murdered because of the hate crimes committed by these groups, yet our government turns a blind eye. This is genocide and a human rights violation of monumental proportion.
That’s a pretty inflammatory statement when taken by itself, but when placed into the context of protecting my fellow American citizens through the obstruction of a nefarious and quite certainly un-American law, it seems a little more reasonable.

Considering the disaster that the 1994 Crime Bill was and the horror that this generation of activists grew up in because of it, we should not be so suicidal as to approach this type of legislation in the same way ever again.
Progressives should understand its origin, and the sacrifices those who gave all made to establish the what little rights we now have in order to continue the struggle for a living wage.
