Trump Is Not the Problem
Trump is a symptom of the deeper problem we have in America: the fact that our country is morally and ethically bankrupt.
Trump is a symptom of the deeper problem we have in America: the fact that our country is morally and ethically bankrupt.
A revolution has started, and Iron Eyes pointed the way forward: “After December 5, We need you to share everything, we need you to stay paying attention because it’s not going to be on mainstream media.”
On November 9, none of this will have changed. The problems that created these two abhorrent candidates will not have gone away.
Just think, if tomorrow we were to give up our dependence on fossil fuels and turn to 100% renewable energy, most of these problems would disappear. There would be no point in sending our troops to kill and be killed in the Middle East.
It’s nothing new. Killing people is what we do. Perpetual war is good for the economy — or more specifically, for the few elites who make obscene amounts of money from the United States War Machine.
We must be prepared, however. A strong, clear goal is necessary. Occupy Wall Street made a strong start in its effort to wake people up to income inequality and the corrupting influence of money in politics; it ultimately faded, however, partly because they lacked a strong, united group and a clear list of demands.
The people are waking up and are becoming more aware of who the enemy really is. It’s not people from Muslim countries, nor is it a foreign government like Russia trying to subvert democracy. It is our very own government, which is pointing the finger at everyone but themselves.
The only way out of this mess is to reject the established system and build a new one. That can’t happen if we keep voting for one of the two major parties. They are just two sides of the same coin.
